HOUSTON – A husband
wanted in connection with the murder of his wife Friday night in Missouri
City was arrested Sunday morning, police have confirmed.
Lance Hilton, 45, has
been charged with murder, according to the Houston Police Department. According
to investigators, police were called to a home on Ridge Rock at Krause after
10:30 p.m. and found Marian Hilton lying dead in her bed.
Her young daughter, who
is about 11, heard her parents arguing. She went downstairs to find her mother
dead. On Saturday, police found Hilton’s car in southeast Houston. The couple
had been married for about five years.
Marian Hilton worked in
the records department at Methodist Hospital in the Medical Center downtown.
She has three daughters and two grandchildren. Her grandson was born a month
ago.
